Sleepy time

My cag sleeps on or in his food dish. Is there anything I can do to give it a better place to sleep?

Re: Sleepy time

If you parrot has a large cage and plenty of perches... it his/her choice.

Sometimes the high perches are too close to 'the roof' of the cage and they are more comfortable with more headroom.
(You see a hunched over parrot a lot in pictures)

Maybe your bird is a lazy midnightsnacker and decided to sleep on/near the munchies for easy access?

Re: Sleepy time

Enzo does that sometimes. But as Christa says make sure there is plenty of room for him to stretch. Enzo can just about climb from the top of the cage to her sleep perch, just abour
