Turquoise Green Cheek Conure
Hello!
I was recently gifted a beautiful Turquoise Green Cheek Conure baby. The thing is, that the breeder didn't exactly knew the hatch day, and he told us she/he was a month old or so. This is my first time with birds, so I didn't knew how a month old GCC looked... In the pictures you can see how she/he looked the first day I had her/him. Does that look like a 4 week-old GCC to you? I think she/he was younger... Let me know what you think! I'll appreciate it. :)

Welcome he is very cute and very young. This baby was too young to be sold---I would STRONGLY advise that you return the bird to the breeder and allow him/her to be fully weaned before bring him/her back home. Hand-feeding a bird does not assist with bonding in the long-run (despite this popular myth). There is so much that can go wrong...even for an experienced hand-feeder. Please read this thread for detail: http://www.parrotforums.com/breeding-raising-parrots/74363-so-you-bought-unweaned-baby.html

Also- since you are new to birds, please visit the following thread and scroll down to the long post of mine at the very bottom--- it is full of information about parrot safety etc that you will need to know (both now and in the future) http://www.parrotforums.com/behavioral/84813-new-owner-african-grey-looking-help.html (and trust me, it isn't stuff they usually tell you at a pet store or even on pet websites, so do take a look).

Thanks for the advise, I appreciate it. Anyhow, I couldn't return it so I did my research, received some guidance too, and thankfully it went well for me. Already eating lots of vegetables, fruits and pellets on its own.

Those pictures were taken almost two months ago, so she/he is way bigger now. Just wanted to know how many weeks old it could be when I first got it, to know which may have possibly been her/his hatch day.
