I have one outside and I will say that it's leaves look worse, but the roots are longer by far....it's in a pot with a tomato lol (because I thought it was SO small that it would surely die anyway, but didn't want to waste it just in case)
SO....I accidentally dropped one of my plants today and the dirt went everywhere, but it exposed some decent, thick, 1' and 2" roots...
The thing is, I then checked the others, and one seems to have some hairy looking growths on it (kind of like blobs..almost gel-like--but not obvious like the other) and the others have scant hairs but NOTHING like the one with the major roots.
All of them look great in terms of leaves, so when do I assume there is no hope of rooting? It's odd because almost all have leaf buds that weren't there, but only one has a major (OBVIOUS) root system (like the kind you see when you pull a weed).
Does that mean the others are done for, or do they just need more time?
