How about...

A profile section for our individual birds.
The idea is to have a diary based data logging format for set specifics (and possibly an additional notes section.)

It could act like an online medical diary where we could choose to add data daily, weekly or monthly, detailing things like:
Weight
Meals
Vet Visits
Medication
Exercise
Etc

We could then have access to automated statistics and progress charts relating to the data we have entered.

It could have private / public option too. This would be down to individuals desire to share their statistics or not.

It could potentially be a good resource of information.

Interesting idea or no?

Interesting concept.

Our Avian Vet provides a like data base for our Amazon. The base document is the Parrots Medical History and that added to by the AV with each visit. All of that information is locked and changes /additions can only be made of the Clinic. In addition, information that the client can enter on a daily, weekly, or monthly bases. There is another section, which is also locked that as the information data for the Parrot's micro chip.

However, other then the client and the AV Clinic, none of the information can be shared.

Very interesting. I like it... I *KINDA* actually do it...
In the very back of the Rickeybird Scrapbook is a much-rumpled little jumble of print-outs from vets over the years, and a few other things. His exercise and diet doesn't vary much at all, and there are no medications.
You already know I like keeping records of my little miscreant!
I'd be willing to experiment with a somewhat more formal framework. :)

Not a bad idea. Would be useful. I'm so paranoid it'd help to ease my nerves and track for illness. :)

Very interesting idea, Violet_Diva! And quite a helpful resource.

Unfortunately, the degree of reprograming necessary to create a section that would be, effectively, the reproduction of a function of Microsoft Excel makes it untenable as an option.

That said, I do think it is an excellent idea. If one were to input the proper equations and values into an Excel spreadsheet, I think something very much akin to what you describe would be doable.
