Rudy - Hybrid Ruby Macaw Born 6/6/15 Scarlet Mother/Green Wing Father - Oliver BFA RIP 3/15/15 @ 34yo. Without you, I would not have Rudy. Thank you!
I remember Birdmans macaw posts from years ago. I happened to come across some posts from 3 or 4 years ago. Right away, I found his information to be spot on with what I have today!! Very clear concise info written at that time which I can now prove with real life current results.

What is this forums policy regarding my wanting to post his written information and advice over and and over again?

He wrote in a much better way than I do.

Thanks!!

It is very common for Members to want to provide a 'Link' to a Thread or Post in which they found very helpful. By providing the 'Link' interested Members can simply 'click' on it and be connected to the information.

Simply copy the Thread or that specific Post's title and paste it into your new Thread or Post.

When you find a specific post you want to reference, click “ permalink” and the post will open in a window by itself. Copy that URL and paste it into your own post, and it will lead to the exact post, not just somewhere in the thread.

Yea, Birdman666 wrote gold. Some of his advice to new macaw owners is priceless - I printed lots of thing off. Maybe we could all submit our favorites and compile a “best of Birdman666” sticky.

Tanks! :p The site tips help..

Ahhhhhhviously there are a lot here, who know his writing well.. I don't know how well his writings would play in a book.. However, a form of plagiarism kinda factors into my wheelhouse..

Especially given my recent success with where I am with Rudy when I try to explain and or describe things..

Just to be clear, are you meaning to link to his posts when looking to emphasize a point? Such as addressing a new member whose macaw is currently trying to eat them? Or are you looking to make an entire thread composed solely of quotes from Mark's past threads? Because the second would indeed seem almost like a form of light plagiarism.

So if the second is indeed the case, you'd probably be better off posting links to threads/posts that you found particularly helpful rather than just posting a bunch of quotes from his threads that would find themselves inevitably out of their original context. Know what I mean? Besides, there are quite a few of his posts that are only enhanced by the surrounding context of his other posts.

Hmm...the context is good ... and I wouldn't want to quote part of one of his posts. What about a hybrid approach? A single post containing multiple items. For each, a title/synopsis: "Birdman666 describes a way to get a "bronco" bird back into society" - or a copy of the entire post (not the entire thread) followed by a permalink to that particular post in its thread. Then the reader can go forward or backward in the thread.

I would find it more useful to have everything in a single post, because lots of times threads go off-topic, and you have to read through pages of posts to get to another tidbit. "Digest" posts would be easier to read if they focused on a single topic. The search feature doesn't work as well as one would hope - I always get a ton of results that don't have what I'm looking for.
