My image attachments have disappeared, when I "manage attachments" and delete them so I can load more, does that delete EVERY attachment already posted???

I cleaned up mine also, only the ones I selected disappeared. I now use photobucket to load images since I am using apple OS, copy/paste issue. If you are on a windows based OS, you shouldn't have to use attachments!

Yes- once you delete them, then it removes the photo from wherever you posted it.

Your best bet is to sign up for photobucket (which is free). With PB, you upload the photos to your account there and jen copy/paste the image link into your post here.....PB has a huge memory capacity (I have yet to even come close and I've been using it since I signed up on the forum) and as long as you don't delete your photos from there you won't have the same issue.

I'm on photobucket, I thought that attachments would take up less forum space than actually loading the pic in the post. I've also made an album on here and then pasted the link into the post...........

The photo limit for the forum is 20 MB compared to my 10.5 GB on photobucket- that's quite a substantial difference.

Plus, if you're uploading to your forum album, how much space each picture takes up depends on the individual file size- so if you're not editing them at all, the file sizes will be huge and take up a lot of space.

Ok, on PB when you can get the links there's a couple of different options.
Email & IM
Direct
HTML
IMG

Which one is best to use on here? IMG?

The below applies to regular PCs, too. :)

See, this is what it looks like, and use this code.. It will be the one that posts the photo..

If you just paste the url address in the top bar, it will just come up as a link-

That is the most common problem i think people have, when i few threads alot of people just post the link, instead of using the codes :)

Just testing to see what the other codes do-

HTML: <a href="http://s1321.photobucket.com/user/tab_xo/media/Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1321.photobucket.com/albums/u556/tab_xo/Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png" border="0" alt=" photo Screenshot2013-10-30at85920PM_zps67a12ffa.png"/></a>

OK- The ONLY link you can use to get your photo to post straight on ( if you use photobucket ) is the IMG code link! :)

Phew!
