Black capped Conure
I have a black capped Conure around 5 months old, any advice or tips to tame?

I've only had him a few weeks and he's around 5months old

What progress have you been able to make with him so far?

Will he eat from your hand ? Just asking because I don’t want to give you a divorce you don’t need.

"Divorce" 😂😂😂.

He doesn't eat from hand put eats food that I leave in the cage on the side. He's very shy and panicks a bit when you put hands near him. I'm not sure if he's a male but been told that he definitely could be one because he is very vocal. He was brought from a pet store over a breeder.

I think you should continue setting food out for him like you’re doing.

It’s just been too short amount of time for him to start to be comfortable with you.

What’s his name? And, a reminder, on this forum, we love pictures! 😊

interesting. I don't have name for him yet but tbh unsure on gender as he's not dna tested. But here is a picture of him attached. Sometimes I take him to the park and places.
