Caique as a second bird?

Hi! I own a GCC named boba and I’ve been doing pretty good. I love her a lot and thankfully am at a place where I can have a bird (or two) live comfortably. I am planning that if I ever get a chance, I will probably get another bird as the last bird I’ll get for years.

I’m planning on adopting a caique if I ever get the chance. So caique owners of reddit, do you think a caique would be a good fit for me? I’m ok with the screaming (thanks boba!) and I’m also fine with biting, although how bad are their bites?

I am away 9-4 bc of school but Ik that I can spend lots of time with a bird no matter how active. I don’t wanna bring in a bird I cant handle. I’ve heard both wonderful and horrible things about caiques, so is there anything you wish you knew before you got one? Thanks!
