Hi, I have a 8 month old Quaker that keeps eating my cats food. I generally catch it. And stop him, but is that bad for birds ?

A nibble here and there probably wouldn’t hurt but it’s not good for him to eat it consistently. Is he maybe looking for a little more protein in his diet? Some people feed their birds a little bit of boiled chicken or hard boiled egg.

That’s a good idea. I am also thinking about moving the kitty’s food to a different spot. But tiki is so smart he will track it down. lol

They are so smart! But moving the food bowl is worth a try 🙂
