Happy Valentine's Day Parronts & Birdies!
My flock and I are sending scritches and hugs to everyone.
I'm also hoping that all of our birds are especially sweet to us today!

These are my babies who had a truly special bond,
and the ones left behind
still grieve for their lost loves.
Ki the RLA lost Callie after being together for
several years. He screamed hysterically for a solid week when Callie passed.
He still looks for her at times.
My lovebirds Lemon (yellow) and Zoe were together for approx. 18
years. Lemon eventually had a stroke, but she could still get around
the cage because Zoe helped her. She lived 2 years after her stroke,
and Zoe passed about a year after she did.
And last but not least, Phoe and Jax. They were best friends within 2 months,
and were together for 3 years before Phoe died unexpectedly.
Just last month, Jax decided to make a permanent move to Phoe's cage,
but he stills calls for him several days a week. Phoe couldn't ever say 'Jax', so he renamed him to 'Green Green'. And that's all we call him now,
it seems to make him happy and I know it makes us feel like Phoe is still here.
