Up here in the high desert of California we only got a lot of steady rain.
thankfully no winds to speak of .
But it was so dark with overcast clouds that my birds could not fly well.
It made them nervous to fly in poor visibility so kept them grounded

the earthquake was early afternoon I was sitting on my bed and just barely felt it.

The cockatiels .
”run for the hills it’s the end of the world “

Bella.
My perch has become unstable, maybe hanging from the bars of my cage will work better.

Amazons.
”Stop jiggling my cage, I find it annoying.“.

Hope that everything's going good now!

Wow, I was aware that they were sensitive, but had never seen the effects!
Steady rains in the high-desert can become life changing as the desert transforms in the coming weeks with the greening of the desert!
