mouthing and chewing

solo my 1 and a half year old indian ringneck has become very mouthy and is chewing every thing including me and it's pretty sore
if it was aggressive biting and attacking i would know what to do but he doesnt seem to mean to hurt me he is just chewing.

does anyone know how to stop this or why he might be doing it

I'm not sure at what age Indian ringnecks go through adolescence, but it sounds like he is going through his terrible two's where he just chews everything. It is important that you correct him from doing this now otherwise in the future it could lead to actual biting.

Yes target training will help. U can also google IRN bluffin stage. They r known for a very bad bluffin, bitting, terrible two's whatever u want to call it stage and it takes a strong own to get over it. Don't give up and u will have a great pet in the end. Good luck!!
