3rd day of Harness Training with Miss Paris

As many of you know I work with my birds to let me put things on them and over there heads. I got the harness 3 days ago. First day she wanted NOTHING to do with it. The next day if she wanted petted she had to put up with it on my hand. Today I started out to just do more but decided to push a little. This is how it worked out

I will start over with just getting her to put her head through the webbing again tomorrow and slowly work up to try again in a few days.

Good for you! I'm trying too, main problem I'm having is the wings, she doesn't like her wings touched

I spend lots of time just touching wings and playing with them with no harness around. They have to be comfortable with you touching before you can really work with the harness. Even if you are not planing to harness, being able to touch wings, legs and other sports on there body makes checking them over and looking for health issues or changes in our birds.
