My galah did the big eagle! A really big eagle, with head bobs and held up for ages. I've been trying to get her to put out her wings because I've got her a harness. She's been sticking them out briefly when I go to say "good morning" but not really doing it on command. This time she did it when I went to speak to her but she went full on with it. I applauded (maybe this is the answer for her training, she is a show pony and wants applause?). She did the head thing, then she did it again. It was quite the performance, I was so impressed.
Now the question - should I have been impressed or was she going into attack mode or something?
I can't wait until tomorrow to try her out again and see if she'll do it again, and do it when asked.
