Perches

I need a 4-5 foot tall perch for my bird, not something with a base that is too wide.

I saw these and want them - Parrot Training Perch Stands

But I can't find them anywhere! This link to this guy's site isn't working for me.

I'd like two so I can flight train Tangie my mom's Senegal, moving them from close enough distance so he can walk from perch to perch, eventually pulling them far enough apart so he has to leap and then eventually fly. But finding tall, mobile perches that aren't clunky and meant for the bird to just sit there and poop on a giant base is hard to find.

Re: Perches

Did you try Amazon? They have a store on Amazon.

Re: Perches

I go to yardsales as nd buy old floor lamps with heavy base. Old umbrella stands work also. Remove the wiring and electrical fittings. You can usually rig a perch to the stand and have just what you need.

Re: Perches

Maxo, I saw the perch you are talking about in a video and it almost fell over when the parrot reached for a treat! Even though my parrot is small she is timid and just a little movement on a perch can made her scared.
I just set up my perch from Parrot Mom. (The Parrot Mom) Its called the Xerch Perch. I love it for training because its supper sturdy. The best part it's supper affordable because you only need one perch. I use it for training, and when its time for play, I add a few branches (they call them xerches), toys and water bowel and she's ready for the day. Also, You mentioned you want a small base- you can individually pic the same of base you want and the hight you want.
