Aviator harness sizes

I was just about to buy him another in pink (he likes people wearing pink/burgundy clothes), but while the small size is for galahs, it only goes up to 425g, and he is 460g (he is on a diet, I've only recently got him!)

So should I buy the medium for him or a small?
I have no idea what his healthy weight is going to be, as he doesn't look overly fat, and I don't mind replacing the harness if it gets too big, but I don't want to get one that is going to be huge on him!!

From experience can you be very careful when out and about using your harness - make sure that your RB2 is absolutely happy and not nervous. Mine is not happy outside even in his cage, he is always on alert looking for predators high in the sky.

He is great in his back pack which gives him protection and he loves it.

These types of birds are used to being in a flock with all the protection that the flock affords them.
