What types of treats does everyone use for clicker training...I have a Myers parrot and am having a hard time finding the right treat for him. Any suggestions are welcomed....thanks!

There are so many things you could try
walnuts are great but like anything not to many
popcorn
Defrosted frozen mixed veges
berries of any kind
peppers
or even just millet sticks ( hold it out let her grab a mouthful and take it away

If your bird is still scared of your hands I'd suggest to try just giving treats thru the bars
click treat click treat and so on and so on
once she is comfy with this open cage and try again working your way to perch training and then finally onto whatever else you choose

Remember how long your bird lives for you have no need to rush things

Many MANY things but Cal would do anything for a grape or a chilli or a brazil nut lol.

She loves peas, sweetcorn, carrot, broccoli, spinich, apple, orange, banana, popcorn, the occasional conure sized piece of pizza crust and any amount of dried fruit. Cranberry, mango and coconut being her favourites.

Just literally try anything you can think of with the exception of the obvious dangers like chocolate, onions, avacado and the pits of most fruits.

You'll get there!!!

I know this is an older post but wanted to add that my Echo will do anything for a walnut!! Even getting inside the cage if I have to go somewhere.
