I'm going to try teaching Fred to sing a new song. He does "How much is that Doggie in the Window", now, but it is horrible and tuneless. I'm hoping that it's because the previous owners couldn't sing??? Any suggestions on a song that I won't mind singing and hearing over and over?

I have a cd of childrens songs for parrots. The phonix series. There are several songs on it and I play it over and over again. Rosie has now learned to pick the song she likes the best and for us it has been I'm a Little Tea Pot and she loves the last line of tip me over and pour me out. She adds some very cute little bird tweets.

SB you know Mishka is supposed to be learning amazing grace, LoL she sways to it but I think it bores her. I am going to surf the net now and see if I can download any of the songs from the children's songs for parrots. The phonix series
Thanks

That's great! You shoud do a video...

I've tried him with Henry the Eight...He enjoys it, but sings along with nonsense words, as he always does when I sing to him.
I tried him with Amazing Grace...he's spellbound, watches me and listens intently.
