My beloved 22 yo Jardine's, Gertie, has had a serious respiratory infection for the past month (first symptom was voice change/loss - if that happens to your bird, get to the vet immediately!). She's been back and forth to the vet, not a firm diagnosis yet, but is being treated aggressively for bacterial and/or fungal disease, just had nebulization treatment in the hospital for the past week. Rather than continue to board her there for treatments, we discussed my treating her at home. Has anyone done in-home nebulizing for their bird(s)? If so, what kind did you use? Discussed with vet, but still confused and they're closed until Monday. Thanks for any input!
