Best nebulizer for parrots?

Hello all,
My beloved 22 yo Jardine's, Gertie, has had a serious respiratory infection for the past month (first symptom was voice change/loss - if that happens to your bird, get to the vet immediately!). She's been back and forth to the vet, not a firm diagnosis yet, but is being treated aggressively for bacterial and/or fungal disease, just had nebulization treatment in the hospital for the past week. Rather than continue to board her there for treatments, we discussed my treating her at home. Has anyone done in-home nebulizing for their bird(s)? If so, what kind did you use? Discussed with vet, but still confused and they're closed until Monday. Thanks for any input!

My husband built a parrot nebulizer. It was a plexiglass enclosure with the nebulizer attached through the side. You put the parrot on a small table perch and set the plexi over it. I can ask him what kind of actual nebulizing thing he used.

Thanks for your response. I found some YouTube videos showing some homemade chambers as you describe, but using regular old plastic bins. I'm also looking at drilling into plastic for the nebulizer to go through. But plexiglass or acrylic would probably be better for sanitation. At this point, I'm scared of losing her, she sounds and looks so bad, but still eating. Wish it was tomorrow, can't do anything on Sunday. The only option is 24-hour emergency vet, but not there yet. Thanks for reading!

Peekaboo parrots on YT has a nebulizer set up on top of a small aquarium for her sick bird. The tube goes through a piece of clingwrap covering the top. She does have a professional nebulizer unit though.

Fly free Plum, my gorgeous boy.
I have also seen carriers used with towels covering. Depends on how urgent you consider your need. Something is better than nothing?

Did you bring her home already?

It IS very urgent. Yes I brought her home yesterday, worse than when I brought her in. See my latest thread: Serious respiratory distress! She calms down a bit when she's getting
petted on my chest.

Also, I don't yet have a nebulizer. One with outstanding reviews and shown in a YT video is these DeVilbiss Pulmo-Aide, priced around $100. There are several cheaper ones, but this was rated excellent and really long-lasting. Again, any experience people could share would be great!
Thanks!
Judy

Thanks for the responses. Gertie didn't make it, and left us today. Further info is in my post on the thread, "Serious respiratory distress!"
