Found 2 really nice cages via the company I want to buy from. They're reasonably priced and look great.

Can I have your opinion please on them:

A23 Charcoal Grey - Canada Cages

A24 Charcoal Grey - Canada Cages

(Even though I'm not ready to get an Eclectus yet I am trying to research all the costs so I can figure out exactly how much I'll need to get set up!)

I would go for the first cage. 39x30x69. It's reasonably priced and the space is definitely more than you need. With the extra cash, you can splurge on some great perches and toys. Nalani's first cage was a similar size but a play top. She didn't utilize half the space so I down graded to a 32x23x60 and she loves it. A lot of people will say bigger the better. But personally, it depends on how much the bird will be spending in the cage. For a cockatoo I totally, 100% agree that bigger is better, just because they are much more active. However, eclectus aren't as active and if they spend a good amount of time outside of the cage, then there really isn't a need for a huge macaw cage. Just my honest opinion.

You're going the right direction though. Thank you for taking the time to research and prepare for you baby instead of jumping hasty, unprepared.

I agree on the first cage, I have a 36 wide X 27 deep cage for Rosie and it's really big.

The larger cage (A24) is fantastic EXCEPT it has a very large bar spacing designed for a macaw. The smaller cage has appropriate bar spacing and is a great size.

I agree, the 1st one and then you can get lots of toys....

I have one very similar to the first one and my U2 loves it! He has room for a swing a hanging foraging toy and a chew toy with plenty of living space.

I personally would go with the 1st cage. Lots of room underneath to store your birds stuff (toy basket, food, cage covers, travel carrier ect...). Plus it looks easier to move around if you wanted to roll it into another room or outside in the summer. I think the greater functionality of the first cage makes up for the slightly smaller size. Plus, your parrot shouldn't be spending all it's time in his/her cage anyways :-) You can use the savings on more toys (as suggested) or even a really nice play stand! Kiwi's cage is roughly the size of the first cage, and he does great in it. Plenty of room for large parrot toys and a variety of branches in there. Best of luck!

I would suggest the first one as it is more then enough for a eclectus and would give plenty of room for great Toys and perches. Although unless you have your heart set on the grey, I always hate my dark cages like blue, black, dark grey and green. Because they always seem to look dirty everything shows up on them it seems and you clean them and they still seem to be dirty in places. Like if you use vinegar And don't get it all off it will leave white streaks:p.

I suggest white or a brass(brownish) color but if you really like the grey then go for it:).

I agree with everyone else on the first one! I have two of a similar size and they work very well. My third cage is larger and sometimes I rotate birds around the cages.

Mine is similar to the first cage but with a playtop. It's big enough for Oliver but he doesn't get lost in it. He's in it while I work but when I'm home he's always out. My second cage at my second home is smaller--I wouldn't be happy with it on a regular basis but a few days once a month it's doable and when we are there he's out the entire time except when he sleeps because I'm home.

Excellent! I appreciate everyone's opinions, thank you :) First one it is!
