Hi all my macaw is 2 years old now and still tempermental I agree that you have to be very strict with macaws but also have to treat them a lot like children murlin is my best friend and is always happy to see me when I get home from work but still wants attention all the time I hear about a lot of people buying macs and real hope they realize there a friend for life and need a lot of attention and work. To thrive and keep happy
