I purchased a young male eclectus he was around 8 weeks an the breeder said his almost weined however his is 20 weeks old now and still getting 2 spoon feeds a day. He will take about 6-10 spoons each fed then attack the spoon so I stop an put out some fresh fruit an veg (corn, peas, carrot, sweet potato, apple, sprouts, capsicum, berries) pellets and seed, however he squarkes nearly all day! We also have a female eclectus a few weeks older and they get along great. They have free flight time every morning. What can I do? Is he ready to be weaned?
