28 old cockatiel chick suddenly sick

Hi all. I have a cockatiel pair who had a chick and it is now 28 days. The baby was fed by the parent and was healthy and happy till yesterday. But today morning when I saw inside the nestbox the paren stopped feeding and was also pecking the chick. The chick was screaming. I took away the chick and hand fed him. But he still not stable and keeps shivering and screaming.

How is he doing? Make sure to feed like every 4-6 hours and check the crop to see it is emptying. Keep him nice and warm too! Have you weaned and raised chicks before this?

Thanks a lot for responding. He is doing great now. I started handfeeding him since then and he is showing great imporvements. His one eye is grey and not sure if any issue with his eyesight. Do you have any idea on this. Except for his eyes he is doing good but a bit scared as he is still in the trauma of his harsh mom.
