Do eckie's need so much fruit regularly? I know they're diet is different from most parrots but I'm curious (and surprised)
 
I just wanted to put a lot of variety in it so he didn't get too much of one thing in one serving
 
Here's not actually much fruit in there. Seems like a good balance to me. Looks great! And tropical fruits are really good for them. Colored throughout means higher nutrient content.

Admittedly I wouldn't consider adding fruit to a chop until I'm ready to serve it. Moisture issues when defrosting.
 
I usually add a lot of oats to soak up the juices to avoid defrosting issues.
 
Looks great!! Looks like Lincoln had a good time on chop day also!!
 
He had lots of fun until he fell off the counter trying to get the almonds and screeched when I tried to get him off the floor before the dogs got there xD
Usually he steps up fine... unless he's on a mission.
