3 month old vs 16 month old
Hi everyone I am learning about African Grays before I decide to start looking for the perfect fit. I am still unsure if a bottle feed african gray would be good or an African grey that would be a year or more older is better for us. Any suggestions or advice wold be great thank you.

Younger the better so long as they've been weaned and feeding themselves.

I agree with henpecked. The younger the bird, the better they bond with you. I also have heard they learn quicker at a young age, although with a grey I'm not sure of this. In any case, you'd be best off getting the three month old bird. Good luck in your decision!

Maybe visit them both and pick the one that is most drawn to you.
