I am going out of town today. Yesterday I left Bob with my mom, and Delilah with a friend. I was wakened early this morning from my friend. Delilah died during the night. She was young, and behaving normally before I dropped her off, and was active and happy at my friends. She ate some pellets before bed and it was lights out at the normal time.

I took Delilah in for a necropsy this morning, and made arrangements with the vet to see Bob on credit if she died of anything infectious so that my mom can take Bob in immediately if it is warranted. In the mean time, any guesses as to what happened?

It can be anything! If she use teflon cookware, aerosol spray, etc. Lots of stuffs really....I'm sorry to hear the news....

I'm so sorry to hear that! Hopefully the necropsy will give you some answers, I'll be thinking of you and your friend in this sad time :(

So sorry about this, hopefully the test results will come back soon.

Sorry to read this! My condolences.

Very sorry for your loss, hopefully you'll find out what happened and Bob will be ok too.

How sad! I'm sorry for your loss and hopefully you'll get some answers from the necropsy. Delilah was a beautiful bird.

What sad news! So sorry. Let us know what happened.:(

Sorry for your loss :( *hugs*

I'm so very sorry. Hugs! :-(

you have my deepest condolences and Prayers, *hug*

Sorry for your loss, thinking of you and Delilah and hoping that Bob is healthy

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's the worst feeling in the world to get that news.
it could be from anything like aerosols, toxic plants or foods, maybe she had a fatty diet, an underlying disease. Who knows. I wish you best of luck I know it's hard.

So sorry for your loss. When my conure passed I was shocked as he was only 6. When the results came back from just a general autopsy (I did not have him refridgerated overnight) there was signs of liver problems but nothing definate. Have you gotten anything specific back as the cause yet?

I am so sorry to hear the news. I hope you get an answer and that Bob will be fine. Thinking of you.
