Is there and food helps in parrot talking and talking ability ? for african and amazon

and thank you guys

I don't know anything about certain foods helping talking. When I had my Rio (a gcc), his very favorite vegetable was peppers! I gave him a variety of mixed diced peppers (mild red, yellow, and orange, jalapenos, etc)

birds love peppery foods but i read recently that foods from the nightshade family shouldn't be fed to birds, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers etc. don't know how accurate it is cos angel LOVES red peppers, i'm limiting her to once a week now though!

Peppers of any color are fine. Lots of vitamins. The hot peppers are ok also.

BIG THANKS guys
actually, thats what i know
that pepper is fine

but i asked just to assure myself

From what I read on my dog forum, the reason we are supposed to keep pets away from the nightshade family is the plants themselves and unripened fruits are toxic. The matured/ripened fruit is not. So keep your pets away from the plants and feed the fruits of those plants such as the peppers and tomato in moderation.

thanks a lot ;)

Hot peppers are designed to be bird food. They are hot so that mammals don't destroy the seeds with their teeth. Feeding them stems, leaves or not fruit parts of the plant may be a problem, but the fruits and seeds are not harmful.

And birds to not experience the "hot" chemical the same way that you do and will not cause any discomfort.

Birds love the hot peppers......I can promise you that if you cook up some brown rice and add some different colored peppers to it and some hot peppers as well...your bird will be in heaven...LOL
