Accidently came home with another bird....

so I accidentally came home with another cockatiel:54:

she was just so darn pretty and I KNOW Dexter is going to LOVE her

apparently she is a yellow suffusion cinnamon pied, 4 years old, which is the same age as Dexter.

now for a name??....any suggestions?? I know you guys come up with some really good ones!!

no, she's not, she was turned into a pet store just yesterday. I was shopping for pellets today, and there she was.

she is semi-tame, and has been well taken care of.

But boy do I hate when those kind of accidents happen... Just shopping minding your own business and holy cow, how did THAT fall into my cart . . happens to me with boots too. I tripped and my card fell into the swipe slot... And they said no returns. I so hate when that happens.

since I had promised myself 'no more birds' with the exception of Martini, who by the way is doing awesome.....when I saw miss 'Blush'....that is the name I chose(thankyou Kiwibird!!!)....I could tell she was very pretty, the more I looked at her, the more I wanted to bring her home.

As it turned out, my husband was furious with me,and wouldn't talk to me.

ahhhh well, that too shall pass.

the reason I say this is because I pay him back for every bird I purchase, every cage I buy etc.....but he does pay for the food and any vet bills.... I paid him back more than 1/2 for Safari's medical bill of $1700.00....so when he gets mad, it's a slight tantrum, but he soon forgets when I pay him back, which won't be long, as my nursery is full of babies, and fertile eggs.

talk about taking the fun out of bringing a new bird home....sheeeesh!

Remind him better or worse, good or bad, cockatiels and conures what I thought those were the standard vows....

Is there anything he collects or likes? My hubby's big boy soft spot is remote planes.... I think he has as many as we do birds. Distract him with something shiny, usually works..,, I love you Byron if you happen to read this over my shoulder.... love you, mean it.
