As you know I adopted Kenji the Congo African gray yesterday, and I am still at the very tip of researching the species to better understand his needs.
I've previously read many African gray books just because I like birds, but many seemed fairly old. I'm going to sit down and re read the African gray hand book. I've also read Alex the African gray, and I'm ordering the Alex studies, a scientific book with a lot of details about their mind and intelligence, but not care.
Anyone know what the best website or book for African gray diets and behavior/care is? I know all about galah diets and care but the Greys seems very different. He's already on a pretty awesome diet. He eats Harrison's pellets, nutri-an cakes, and fresh fruit and veggies daily.
So basically anything you can tell me about grays that is specific to them would be great
I want to give Kenji the best home possible and I know you guys will help me to do that. I've already been told to make sure to keep him busy, and make sure to always have his favorite toys.
Thanks everyone!
