Hello I have a male African grey, will turn 3 this December. I’m his only owner, but due to some circumstances have to look at rehoming him. He is a plucker, mostly due to my traveling and not getting enough attention. When he leaves himself alone his feathers come in nicely.

I’m in the Chicago area suburbs. Will include his cage, sleeping cage, travel cage and perch on wheels. I have his original paperwork when we purchased him and had him sexed.

I really want this guy to go to a good home and get the attention he deserves. He’s super intelligent and right now his saying is telling everyone to ā€œbe careful.ā€ Charging $200 adoption fee just to weed out folks and make sure you’re serious. Call me with any questions or to talk. 847-910-9291

Also not going to ship, must pick up bird. Would like to talk to person and get to know them before he leaves my home.

Sorry I'm not in the area. My female CAG is a rescue who was plucking her feathers. She is better now but not stoped completely. Hop you find a good match.

Thanks! Unfortunately he just doesn’t get that attention he needs and it’s not fair for him to spend so much time in his cage. My 1.5 year old son also is battling allergies so that doesn’t help.

Good Luck
I can’t imagine how difficult this must be for you both.
I hope the next chapter in his life will be abundant in love, affection and attention.

Please keep us posted.

Can this thread be deleted? No longer looking to rehome bird.
