I gave him some strawberry and he said "thank you" and it was crystal clear!

Hes now a polite birdie.

He most likely picked it up from us because we say "thank you" to him all the time when he comes up to us and randomly kisses us or preens , or if i ask him to drop or give me something he souldnt have .

“Thank you!” Is a self-rewarding phrase to teach your birds. My Lucy Quaker used to say “thank you!” If you gave her a treat or a toy. People watching thought that was really cool and she could tell.

So adorable! He is such a talker!

Another good phrase to teach is “goodbye” when you wave goodbye and walk away. And “gimmee kiss” followed by kissing noises. People will be charmed if your bird actually interacts with them on a way that can’t be denied.

Ive said this before and im probably say it again , but albie is just simply amazing.

I never expected him to talk , because they arent great talkers , but he is just a little chatterbox !
