It could be just adjusting, but it might be that they think they're in charge/calling the shots. If that could be the case then they'll never be happy, they'll be moody,unpredictable. You've got to make sure your the flock leader. Be outgoing ,confident,consistent. If they act up, turn your back on them. watch for them to be good or ask for attention, be quick to give it ,but only in small doses. Leave each interaction with them wanting more of your attentions, not them being flooded to the point of not wanting any more. Another important part ,is being able to read your bird well enough to know it's a bad time to ask for something from them.Pick your battles well, the ones you know you can win. If you think he's asking for pets, then that's a good time to offer to do it for him. Just stop before he's had enough, call the shots. If he looks POd, don't pick that time to ask him to step up.
