Like most of you, we want the best foods possible for our birds.
We spend a lot of money trying to figure out the best diet and combinations of foods all to make them healthy and happy.
Many times they turn their beaks up at what we offer them...but we press on always looking for that perfect food.

And then there are times like THIS!...

Hundreds of $$ on toys, treats and special foods...and you want ICE!
Notice the "piggy" eating two at a time!

No different to kids - spend thousands on jungle gyms and tree houses, they find a box and turn it into their 'castle'

As an FYI: Keep in mind that sometime its the way it is provided. Some like chunks, others like it diced and still others are thin or thicker slices. And to add spice, they can and so change their mind!

ICE! Hmmm, likely been watching the Humans and of course what you have is what they want!

My Senegal LOVES ice. Especially when he can put it in his pellets and make cold mush.

My conure does the same thing! Started helping himself to my water bottle and pulling out my ice. I credit him for staying hydrated now, because I keep having to top my bottle off so he can keep playing with the ice.
