She's a 100 times better today, alert bright eyed and voicing her displeasure very very very loudly.

I'll prolly leave her in the hospital cage for one more day.. and then put her back in with Daffy.

One more day of antibiotics so I'd rather leave her in 'rest' mode until they are all done.

Exceedingly appy right now.

Glad she responded to the treatments and TLC, Gonna keep putting Aloe juice in her water though for a couple of weeks just to be on the safe side.

And since the black cage is out in the elements.. the poor pair will be sharing porter's travel cage xP.

Its the only spare I have, and Porter is sleeping in the TINY budgie travel cage. (Used for cross country trips only... ages ago. That cage brought my budgies from Virginia to Texas, and they were in it all of ten days.)


But its better than the birds catching anything.
Tomorrow or the next day I'll bring it in and do another hot soak in bleach.
Then a vinegar rinse and one more round of drying outside to get the bleach smell gone.

THEN they can go home.
They will just have to deal with the little cage for a few days.
