quaker
i have my quaker who is now 18/19 weeks old for nearly 5 weeks and he has been great but the last couple of days he seems to be getting quite aggressive purposely trying to get close to bite anyone i have no idea why hes behaving like this because he was starting mellow out and let me stroke him im lost does anyone have any ideas whats going on with my boy??

He may need more time to adjust to his new surroundings. Five weeks isn't that long, give him some time to build trust before you ask too much of him. Is he close to his cage when he becomes aggressive? Quakers are known for being territorial around their cages. Try letting your bird set the pace, work with him when he's friendly and receptive.

Good luck, quakers are super smart, with the right training you'll have a loyal companion for years to come.

Allee, it looks like Delfin edited that post a few days ago...? Its gone...?

Thank you, Ann! I should have checked the link. Hmmm?

NP Allee.

OP im sure if you do a quick search for bonding and taming you will find alot of other threads that have great advice as well.

Alee is right though, of course. 5 weeks is not very long at all. Im sure he will come around with patience. :)
