Anna is gone

I just don't know what happened.
I made her some chop she ate. I work with her to come on my hand to take a treat everything seamed fine.
Some new toys arrived I went to change out some toys and she was dead at the bottom of her cage.
That is one of the hardest parts of owning a parrot.
Sometimes then just don't let you know

I'm so sorry. What a shock! She was so pampered with you and you saved her from terrible
If it had to happen so much better in a safe happy love home with full belly.
I wish they would let us know, so we could help them...

No I really don't think so. It was so quick I fed her she ate, and with in 2hrs she was gone.
I took and tossed all the toys and perches in her cage

Put all the bowls even Axels and soak them in bleach. They are stainless steel. Took her cage outside and sprayed it down with a bleach solution. And made sure I sprayed all the corners and edges.
I to a good look at her before I deposed of the body. I couldn't see anything
I checked her ceres and vent and the looked ok

Someone talked about shipping boxes being sprayed with stuff because of covid and it being toxic.....I can't remember what was said exactly, except kinda like you they got a shipment and then bird passed....
It's just so hard to believe, she was in great to fat body condition, not skinny like chronic illness...
Just trying to work it out.
Maybe heart condition or fatty liver disease
Her cere was kinda of indicating an active hormones time.. so thought maybe an egg..
Just so sad with you, she was so beautiful, im glad we git to meet her

The adding of a germ killing chemical that killed COVID and stayed in place long enough to be a toxin is one of those Junk News items. To spray boxes and not have that packaging area go Full-On-Toxic and be a serious danger to the organizations staff would happen and staff would become very ill. The story is linked to the spraying of shipping containers coming from China.

I'm sure yiu are right. But we have had a couple if members come on and burd died just after receiving packages and new toys and stuff. So makes me pay attention, abd be paranoid..wrongly or rightly I open packages outside, wash new toys, or leave sitting out fir a week..
