Birdman: The Art Of William T. Cooper : ABC iview
This is playing on ABC iview at the moment. It's the story of the Australian bird-artist, Bill Cooper, who illustrated the seminal work, 'Parrots of the World' as well as 'Birds of Paradise and Bower Birds' among others. I met Mr Cooper in 1976 before he became famous. It's lovely to see success hasn't changed him one bit since those early days. His art, though, has gone from brilliant to superlative!!!
