I have noticed my green cheek Rodney loves biting on towels, and ripping them up. Can I make a toy out of towels for him? Its hard finding toys he will play with, so soon as I noticed this I was like that could be something to keep him busy. Any thoughts? Thank you. :rainbow1:

Dishcloths from the dollar store with a screw on link from the pet store used to hold them together after you punch a hole through the middle of them.

Also, keep this toy for supervised play only. There's a chance the threads by get tangled in the feet and hurt the bird. My CAG ended up with the glue stitches on his toes over a supposedly safe toy before, so you have to be careful.

Have you tried the flannel type preening toys, or preening toys in general yet? They tend is have the same kind of tactile quality as towels in some cases.

I never heard of preening toys. But I'll check them out. Thanks.
