Anyone use a vent deflector in bird room?

I recently moved and I’m in a smaller room now with floor vents. The only issue is there no room to put the bird cage in another spot. The floor went is right under the bird cage and it hits the right side of it. I don’t want that obviously because they will feel the cold and warm air. Has anyone ever used a vent deflector ? Any luck with it?

I haven't had to use one in my bird rooms, but I have a vent under my picture window where I have a bunch of plants and it works really well at deflecting the air away from them.
