Our Amazon heads for the bed where he goes under the pillows, in an out several times. However, bring out a towel for drying and its deep into the pillows never to be seen until he's dry.

I blow-dry the Rickerbird. Since Patagonians are from an arid land, I think he enjoys the warm dry air instinctively; I think it might dry other parrots' skin/feathers, bu the loves it. I hold the dryer at arm's length and he walks from my shoulder as close as he pleases and just leans in. Since we're in the bathroom, I can see his face, and his eyes practically roll back in his head in delirium. Pretty funny.
