Are they affected?

I know ekkies are old world parrots. But they are oily birds. Are they affected by the old world powder down or no? I've heard conflicting info. I've been curious since River (and Basil, Echo, and Mint) will be left with my dad, if I would be able to get an old world bird ever.

I believe that you are asking if Parrots that use feather dust to easy feathers moving over each other can be around Parrots that use oil gland to easy feathers moving over each other. The short answer is yes! This assumes that both types of Parrots are provided plenty of bathing opportunities.

It is alway important to remember that even when everything is perfect, Parrots may not get along with each other.
