What happens if the new galah turns out to be a "man's" bird also.Go meet any new bird (all of you), still there's no guarantee. IMO i won't add another bird until your present bird is well bonded to someone, Mature, and should be accepting of all family members. I would never exspose immature pet birds of any species to other birds regardless of specie.Just my .02 worth. i have many longtime pets and know how crazy it can get when new rescues come, and leave, the flock. a new pet would be a challenge to you to make into your pet, why not expend the same amount of energy into the situation you already have? A bird that is safe and secure in it's home is more willing to tolerate a new comer, than a bird trying to establish it's place in the flock. of course you need to consider the personality of your bird as well as the personality of the new bird. I'd work harder at making friends with the bird you have , if you can do that then winning over a new bird would be "no sweat". We are talking about zons here, i'm not the one to speak about toos. They're out of my league.
