At The Vet

You just need to give the meds sometime to kick in first. If it doesn't work then go for the alternative medicine. I've thought about buying some bee polin cause I've heard the same as you've read. If you end up using it, please do let us know how it does for ya.

Well, much research on the Bee Pollen, it is good for prity much everything, including feather picking.

The birds eat it in the wild, so as far as how much you can give them, I doubt you can do much harm. It seems people recommend a t spoon mixed with food. At the moment we are just giving them to her in the standard pill format, seems to love the stuff (perhaps she knows she needs it?)

Anti-Biotics are still going well. I guess all we can do now is just keep it going and head back for some more bloods at a later time.

I will keep you updated on the bee pollen, but as it stands it seems to go down well, and has many good benefits. :)

Obviously time will tell... although interestingly 2 days after bee pollen usage, her poo seems to have developed a better consistanty.

Not sure if that means anything

Thank again

Just an update folks.

When I went to the vet, he said (after the x ray) that there was no egg in there, and he could tell that there would be no egg in the near future.

Turns out there was an egg, as one has just been laid. It is a nice hard and healthy egg.

I am not sure if this is a good sign or not. She is not eating her medicine anymore... not eating anything hand fed anyways (this is normal with her and egg laying time) But surley if a bird was seriously ill... it would not consider laying eggs... and then the eggs turn out to be perfect. Surley if the bird was ill, then the egg would not be as perfect as it.

Another potential issue that I noticed, is at one point today, she basically puked up some seed. This was not puking as such, it was more hecked up. This didn't seem to pose a problem to her, and I was wondering if it is possible that this happened due to a maternal instinct or something? I must say that I have never noticed it before at egg laying time, and it is an egg not a baby so yeh... bit strange.

Anyway, thanks for the help, It just seemed a significant development and thoughts are appreciated.
