Attacks me after our vacation.

6 yr old female attacks me after our 18 day vacation. Stayed w a couple. Bonded w him. She kept flying at me, bloodied my ear, finger and arms w vicious bites. Was she rejecting me after bonding w him? Or angry we left her for so long? We got her home and she was fine. Help pls!

Yep she is pissed off at you. Did you explain (several times) to her that you would be gone and for how long? If not, this is what happens. It'll take a week or so, with lots of treats and cajoling but she'll come around. Next time - let the bird in on your plans! I used to go to CHina for 2-3 weeks at a time, and I neglected to tell Salty, it was a week of grumpy, bitey bird. If I did, it was a day or two.
