Hello!
I was wondering if there were any Congo Grey breeders who might be able to help me out here. The aviary I'm getting my baby from waits until each baby is able to perch before clipping their nails and taking a blood sample for DNA testing. They like the babies to be confident enough to be able to stay up after they have their nails shortened. They also let them fully fledge before clipping their wings, and do abundance weaning (Jackpot!).
I am incredibly anxious to find out the gender of my baby, and would really appreciate a general time frame of about when these babies are capable of perching on their own.
Having absolutely no idea of when to be able to expect this news is not serving me well haha
I feel more comfortable asking you all here than I do asking the breeders, for some very silly reasons that are due to social anxiety, and not at all the fault of the aviary. Probably because I more than likely won't be seeing any of you in person, where I'm going to be seeing the breeders several times. Social anxiety is really silly like that
Anyway... Babies are currently 7 weeks old! I posted a bunch of new pictures of them in the grey species forum if you're interested in seeing my handsome little devil
Thank you in advance!
