For those that have an Orange Winged Amazon, what Aviator Harness size worked for your bird?

When I look at the sizes by weight my bird seems to be between a small and a medium.

They have a lot of adjustment to them, probably better to get the medium because you can adjust it down...If you get the small it may not fit at all...

I was thinking that but didn't know how much adjustment was possible.

Call Steve at theparrotuniversity.com. He's the manufacturer of the aviator harness . He'll get you exactly what you need. Great Guy! Oh and I'm in no way affiliated , just have had great communication and customer service.

I would advise the medium. The head loop is largerand that is the hardest part of harneses- getting your parrot to put his head through the loop. Once he is comfortable doing that, you can always get a small.

Had the same very positive experience...when in doubt contact the guy who makes them ;)

When species says one thing and weight another.... Just use the weight-chart instead of species, parrots like humans differ a lot in size and shape.
