We purchased a Aviator Harness for Mac, our 17 month old B&G Macaw.
Last night my wife and I sat and watched the video.
One thing that confused me a bit was part of the training process, which I understand must be necessary, but still confused me a bit.
Everything I've read prior to this training DVD was the handling of Macaws and petting/touching them in certain areas. Petting them under the wings etc.
Just looking for a bit of input from folks that have real life experience with the training process.
Did this type of handling create any negative behavioral situations through the process?
