Avocado oil

I was sitting here this evening and it dawned on me that I have been cooking with avocado oil for months and the birds eat food that has been cooked in this oil. I have never seen any signs of illness but I am very very worried could somebody help me please

There’s a toxin that’s sometimes present in avocados but I think you can feel quite comfortable about cooking with avocado oil. The toxin should be removed by the pressing and extraction process. If it were not, likely humans would get sick from avocado oil.

I don’t cook with avocado oil but I do use it as a hair mask. Avocado and coconut oil make a vegan ghee replacement that’s good for cooking, I hear.
