Baby Budgie Update!

So some of you remember that I took in 3 baby budgies from the girlfriend of a friend who's a complete ditz, as well as irresponsible...They were only 2-3 wkks old at that point, so I've been hand-feeding them, etc. They're now in their weaning-cage, and they all just fledged last week...

Believe it or not, I got a call from the girlfriend, asking how they were doing, okay, but then she asked me "when she could take them back in?"...Ha! I guess she thought I was doing this because I trust her to give them a good home or something, but nooooooo....she refused to separate her birds or re-home the females, so I can't help with that, but no way she's getting these 3 back!!!

Good for you! So few budgies are hand fed. It's a shame because they're such great pets for young and old alike.

Lovely little budgies,so deserving of a proper start in life. Definitely something wrong with that woman! The nerve of her lol.
