Baby Ekkies lil over a month old

my babies, shrek and fiona are growing like weeds... everyday there seems to be changes n them..there both eating baby food, both know my voice and when its time to eat they know just how to be placed to eat , shrek will slide his head into my fingers to wait his turn...fiona still lays on her belly to sleep with her butt in air...I've got pics trying to up load...but thete are some pics in my folder....

The baby pics are soooooooo cute. I have never seen and Eclectus that young. When I had visited Joaquin's breeder the youngest ones she had to see where grey fuzzies with peaks of colored feathers. I remember picking Joaquin out when he was a grey blob with green pin feathers.

How is the feedings going. I remember my friend who was feeding baby eckkies was freaked that they ate so violently. She said they attacked her hand and the food like it was snakes. She told me she asked her husband "Help me feed them they are trying to eat me too." LOL Eventually they did settle down but I think she started feeding them when they were a lot older than your.

Take care of those babies.

I'm sure they are lovely little birds and will have a wonderful life, but man are they odd looking at that age. They look like little mini dinosaurs. LOL. Have fun with those little guys. I'm sure they will have the best life possible. I'm eager to see how pretty they become.

They are so much fun and I do believe more of a hand full then a new born baby.
Shrek today at his morning bath has so many lil pin feathers and even has them on his little wings,
When feeding them it is for sure hard to do. With two of them wanting to eat at once. But fiona. Is harder to eat cause she is smaller and eats slower. And shrek he will dive into his food if I don't hurry quick enough for him. I am enjoying them so much.... They are eating formula 3 times a day and baby food ( green beans,sweet tators,squash,sweet peas, carrots, mixed veggies, and fruit there favorite is apple sause kewi peaCh blend. All number 2 baby food). These lil things are piggies!

And on last note the babies won there halloween costume contest .... There vet calls every other day or so to check on them ......
